Within the last 6 months there have been 5 children who have gone missing. All these children have nothing in common other then their age being between 7-8.
You have been assigned to this case after recieving an anonymous tip that this location is involved. you plan on investigating without making your presence announced.
[[Scope out the house]]
Inside the entry is neat and organized. Three pairs of shoes are lined up at the door, the two largr pairs look worn and well used compaired to the smallest. On the wall are photographs of the family; Charles and Ana Smith and their daughter Emma. They look so happy together and just like an average middle class family. Its hard to see why this home was tipped as a possible location for the missing children.
The entry table contains vase of [[flowers]] and a [[PhoneBook]]

The lock sounds with a soft thud of a heavy latch realeasing.
On the other side of the door are stairs leading under the house...
A gentle draft from the dark depths breezes against your skin leaving goosebumps.
You take a breath

You reach the base of the stairs. And now stand in a completely empty hallway.
The atmosphere is dry and cold. The only light source is coming from flickering hanging ceiling lights that cast a eerie yellow color. The brick walls have been covered with a thick layer of white paint.
You immediently notice three doors...
Try the [[first door]]
Try the [[second door]]
The door is unlocked. Inside is a small room with one window near the top of a large storage unit. The room is filled to the brim with supplies.....
medical supplies...
The shelves are stocked with unused viles, medicine, pills, packaged syringes...
How did they get all of this?

It's the missing children
[[examine]]
<else>
it's locked.carefully you shut the door behind you and lock the door. if someone saw you in here, you would be in big trouble.
you take a look at the children
they are locked in cages and are wearing hospital garbs. they look extreamly weak and sick and barley seem to acknowledge your presence.
Knowing that you have to get all these kids out of here, you start to fiddle with the lock on the cage when you hear the sound of foot steps approaching the room.
[[HIDE.]]
You have two places to hide. you there is a locker in the corner of the room or behind the some stacked cages
CHOOSE:
[[LOCKER]]
[[CAGES]]You climb in the locker, carefully shutting the door as quietly.
your body freezes in the cramped space as you hear the door unlock and open.
You look between the slits in the locker to see [[who it could be]]You quickly hide yourself behind the cages away from the children. luckly it was dark enough to obscure you just enough.
your body freezes in the cramped space as you hear the door unlock and open.
You look between the bars to see [[who it could be.]]Peering through the tiny window you had, you could see that the fugure looming in the room was Ana. She wore a lab coat and carried a clipboard.
She analyzes the room carefully before turning her attention to one of the children in the their cage, writting down notes on her clipboard.
You think how this is probably the one time that you would get the chance to take evidence.
Slowly you pull your camera out, the lockers little window is just wide enough for you to get Ana into frame.
Just before you take the photo, you [[hesitate]]The weight of reality suddenly becomes evident.
What happens if you get caught?
With this in mind you make your decision.
Do you want to [[take a photo|Ana Photo]]?
[[Stay still]]You press the button and snap a photo. But as you do, the flash goes off.
Your heart plummets as you wait to ait to [[see if Ana noticed]].
<<set $photo_count += 1>>Ana pauses for a second, but then stands up and walks out of the room.
You release the breath you had been holding for what felt like hours.
[[leave your hiding spot]] As you sit in suffocating silence, Ana continues taking notes.
After what felt like hours, she finally stands and leaves the room.
You exhale the breath you had been holding that entire time.

[[leave your hiding spot]]You try and escape, but Ana is too fast.
She lunges for you, and before you can react you feel her plunge a syringe into to you.
You feel your body hit the ground, and watch Ana stare into your eyes as you lose consciousness.
...
[[TRY AGAIN?|Entry]]As you get out, you wait to see if it is safe to escape.
Considering that there are several children, it would be impossible to take the, all at once.
[[You need to escape to call for back up.]]Carefully as possible you manage to get back to the storage room.
silently you open the window and [[climb outside]]As fast as possible, you sprint as far as you can away from the home, calling the police.
